In this tour you'll visit one beautiful natural place in Lisbon surroundings, the Arrábida Hills with its breathtaking views over the ocean.
First we'll visit the Christ the King viewpoint on the Tagus river south bank to admire the magnificent panoramic view of the coast from Lisbon to Cascais.
On the way to Setúbal, we'll visit the medieval castle of Palmela, which from the top of its keep shows us the vast plains of the Alentejo and tells us a lot about Portugal's defense of independence history from Spain in the 14th century.
In Setúbal we'll visit the colorful fishing port and the famous fish market, if open. Here you can have lunch and taste a delicious fish meal by the sea.
After lunch, we'll go up to an 400 year old fortress on a hill top to admire the views over the bay of Setúbal, to explore the historic place and have a coffee on a terrace over the ocean.
Before returning to Lisbon, we'll visit the peaks of the Arrábia mountain range to admire its breathtaking landscapes.
