What To Expect

Get out of the city and spend a day full of adventure during this private full-day surfing trip to Nazaré from Lisbon. Watch the group of big-wave surfers who spend their days in the water searching for the next record-breaking wave. Hang out at Forte Sao Miguel Arcanjo, one of the best wave-watching spots in the area, and eat lunch in a local restaurant for some of the best fish and seafood.

This tour allows one to spend a considerable amount of time watching the waves and surfers in the water, while there is time to also wander around the village. As we cannot guarantee that there will be waves and that there will be enough action at the site, this tour can be fully customizable within the duration to visit other nearby locations or do other experiences. Please advise us of your preferences so we can work it out.

Important info

Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Service animals allowed. Specialized infant seats are available. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. Child seats (three years old or above) are available on request (free of charge) if advised at time of booking. Children must be accompanied by an adult. At time of booking, cruise ship passengers must provide the following information: ship name, disembarkation time and re-boarding time. Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking. Prices are based on group size. Depending on the size of the group and car availability the tours are made on a mid size sedan/estate (Mercedes E Class or equivalent) or on a van.. A maximum of 7 people per booking. Please note: We cannot guarantee that there will be waves and surfers on the water when in Nazaré. The wave season is from October to February but more accurate predictions can only be made with a few days in advance. Nevertheless if there is time after all the visits and attractions in Nazaré, we will always be able to show you other interesting locations in the area.
