In this 9-hour tour from Lisbon you will be driven south in comfort across the iconic 25th of April bridge through beautiful landscapes towards The Alentejo, Portugal’s largest region and maybe the wildest. A region lined by a rugged coast to the west and filled with farmland, cork oaks, vineyards, olive groves, and other crops and livestock.. You will explore Évora. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Évora is known as a “city-museum” filled with culturally significant landmarks and it is marked with a notable history. It is also the Alentejo’s regional capital and largest city. After visiting the main attractions of Evora, you will visit a wine producing estate where you will have lunch and a wine tasting. Then it is time to see how cork is extracted and produced before heading to another estate where one of Portugal most famous brand of olive oil is produced. Time for a tasting, of course, before heading back to Lisbon revitalised.
