Częstochowa is the spiritual capital of Poland. It is here that the famous Pauline monastery is located containing the revered icon of the Virgin Mary, credited with numerous miracles. For centuries it has been the country’s main place of pilgrimage.

Specialized infant seats are available. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. You will be visiting a place of worship - dress appropriately for the occasion (short skirts, shorts, bare shoulders - not appropriate). Among other things, chewing gum, eating and drinking, talking loudly and visiting during services are prohibited in the temple.
