Relax on the Vistula River on a modern boat and admire many of Krakow's most beautiful attractions along the way. A heated deck and comfortable leather sofas will make you feel at home even on cold days. On warmer days, we invite you to the upper platform to enjoy the beautiful views while spending time outdoors.
Then, change to the bus and drive to Wieliczka - a small town near Krakow, where one of the largest ancient salt mines in Europe (700 years) is located. The depth of the mine is 340 meters, the total length of the corridors and tunnels is over 245 kilometers.
The tourist route is over 3 km long and includes over 20 halls, underground lakes, a multitude of corridors and buildings, including the largest and one of a kind Church of St. Kinga - the patron saint of miners. The underground church is richly decorated with chandeliers, carvings and statues of saints carved out of salt. There is a specific healing microclimate in the mine, and there is a sanatorium at a depth of 135 m.
Public transportation options are available nearby. Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. Please note that part of the tour is walking and operated by a live guide. The rest of the tour includes the care of the driver (cruise, transfer), without a guide. Please remember that it is quite cool in the mine (between 14° C and 16° C). Make sure to take warmer clothing even in summer and wear comfortable shoes, as well.. The regular Salt Mine tour requires lots of walking and climbing stairs.
Let's meet at the Inflancki Boulevard 3, at the bank of Vistula river, next to the water tram stop called "Paulinska” (in Polish: Przystanek tramwajowy „Paulińska").
Look for the person with a "Cracow Boat" sign, wait please for the boat with the name "Cracowboat".
