The Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum and Memorial is a special place of remembrance dedicated to victims of the Second World War. The former largest Nazi German Concentration and Extermination Camp remains to be one of the most frequently visited historical sites in the world. A visit to the Museum is divided into two parts: the tour in Auschwitz I, which takes about two hours, and then the tour in Auschwitz II Birkenau, about one hour. Including transportation time it lasts about seven hours.
Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Public transportation options are available nearby. Specialized infant seats are available. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately. Not recommended for child aged 12 and under (parents decision). Museum is closed on the following dates: 1st of January, first day of Easter, 16th of April and 25th of December..
