Wroclaw has always been a beer city. By 1945 there were 31 breweries in the city. We start the tour at the market square, at the entrance to the Schweidnitzer Keller restaurant at the town hall. The restaurant is the oldest restaurant in Silesia. Then we walk across the market square towards the university and make a quick stop at the fencing fountain. Here you can find out more about the history of the student fraternities in the city. You can visit the first and oldest mini-brewery in Wroclaw on the market square. You'll learn how the city has rediscovered its beer history and how more microbreweries are popping up, serving high-quality golden pilsners. The second brewery is also located next to it, where you can taste the beers brewed here. Your tour guide will leave you here and you can enjoy the lively atmosphere in the restaurant on your own.
