While Laguna is most well-known for the Majestic Pagsanjan Falls and Laguna de Bay Lake in the Philippines, it is also home to other several waterfalls that punctuate the rivers that the lake spills into. Hulugan Falls is one of them. Hulugan Falls isn’t the only treasure in the forests of San Salvador. There are two others: the smaller, two-tiered Talay Falls and the aptly named Hidden Falls as an optional for travelers who wanted experience a moderate trekking.
The Makiling Botanic Gardens is a 300-hectare facility located inside the Mount Makiling Forest Reserve (an ASEAN Heritage Park) in Los Baños, Laguna. Owned and operated by the top state university in the Philippines' College of Forestry and Natural Resources of UPLB.
