Enjoy a visit to the city of Cusco, the capital of the Inca Empire. The tour begins by visiting the Santo Domingo Convent that was built on the Inca temple of Coricancha, one of the most important places dedicated to cult worship. Ancient chronicles say that its walls were covered in gold and filled with gilded representations of nature. Then, visit the Cathedral, the most imposing monument in the main square. Inside, it houses hundreds of paintings from the Cuzqueña School and other works in gold, silver and precious stones. The tour ends in the Plaza Recogijo, surrounded by colonial houses, restaurants and bars.
