What To Expect
The Lares Trek is a 4-day trek that follows a remote path through Andean villages to the Inca citadel, without the busy crowds of the Inca Trail. Hike through small villages with stone houses and take in the beautiful scenery as you pass through Wacahuasi, Wacawasi, Patacancha, and more towns on your way to Aguas Calientes to see the incredible Machu Picchu.
