Our bicycle tour route passes through Maras Moray and the Salt Mines, or Salineras, located in part of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, in the province of Urubamba, District of Maras, which is located at 3395 meters above sea level, where we can enjoy two tourist sites as well as beautiful landscapes surrounded by mountains, snowy peaks, and lagoons.
Another non-traditional way of being able to visit this route is with the Maras Moray Bicycle Tour, for those who seek to get out of the traditional visits and enjoy the air and exercise their bodies.
The Moray Archaeological Complex is located 7 km southwest of Maras. It is currently known for a set of huge terraces that overlap concentrically in a gigantic hole. Formerly, these beautiful terraces served in Inca times as an agricultural laboratory.
Salineras or “Minas de Sal”, known as Salineras. currently exploited by the company where the salt for the grills is produced.
