This tour is a fun, fully customizable boat adventure discovering the beautiful Taboga island and its surroundings (at eight nautical miles from the City). It departs directly from Panama City.
Several picturesque islets surround Taboga with dense vegetation and a fantastic waterfall that crashes directly into the Ocean. The island has lovely swimming beaches, snorkel, and docking facilities to step into the friendly local fisherman town.
If you would like a fishing-oriented day, depart early in the morning. Fishing around the Bay of Panama and the island of Taboga, the species that can be captured are Dorado (Mahi Mahi), Yellowtail Tuna, Spanish mackerel, Tuna Bonito, and Jack Crevalle, among others, as well as bottom species such as snapper, Pargo, Grouper, and Amberjack. You can also visit one of the best fishing spots in Panamanian waters: Twenty Fathom, about five nautical miles south of the island.
