Begin with a convenient pickup and enjoy a scenic 45-minute drive from Panama City to the Chico River, nestled within the Panama Canal watershed. Here, you’ll board a motorized canoe for a peaceful 40-minute ride along the river, surrounded by lush landscapes.
After disembarking, take a short walk to reach an Embera village. Known for their rich cultural heritage, the Embera people live in harmony with nature and are celebrated for their unique songs, dances, and vibrant traditional attire.
Learn about their customs and way of life. Enjoy a traditional lunch, followed by a captivating dance performance that reflects the Embera's deep connection to the natural world.
Before departing, browse handcrafted souvenirs and traditional artworks created by village artisans. End your journey with a canoe ride back to the dock and then to Panama City.

The community has a nice spot where swim depending on weather conditions . NOT pickups offered for Amador Port . We suggest to bring US dollar cash in case you want to buy souvenirs or have a temporary tattoo..
