What To Expect
We will go north to the town of Nueva Providencia, located on the remote northeast arm of Gatun Lake. Enjoy amazing views of Gatun Lake from the shore while tasting local cuisine in a unique setting. During the boat ride we will cruise around islands and see the abundant wildlife on its shores. We will make a stop at the Embera village of Cimarron Paraiso for a cultural exchange with a local indigenous community. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE SHOWS WHERE PEOPLE PUT ON COSTUMES AND DANCE FOR TOURISTS! In this unique and interactive visit, the locals will teach you from a variety of new skills. You can choose between activities such as archery, woodcarving, weaving, medicinal plants, cooking, making chicha fuerte (homemade alcohol, age 18+), learning the Embera language, among others.
We will return to Gatun Lake in the boat for an opportunity to view a beautiful sunset from its waters.

Suitable for all physical fitness levels. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Child rate applies only when sharing with 2 paying adults. A minimum of 2 people per booking is required on Shared tours. Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately. If it rains you might get wet.. Minimum age is 3 years. Tour is guided only in English

Embera Village Visit. Bottled water. Visit Monkey Islands. Before the boat ride you will be able to taste some Local food as we set up a breakfast at Soberania National Park. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions. Boat ride on Gatun Lake (90 minutes)
What's not included
Gratuities. Not a transit tour and Doesn't include any locks visitors center. . Pick Up from Playa Bonita Hotels need to pay extra $10 per person for Roundtrip Transportation . No pick up or drop off at the Airport or Airport Hotels . Playa Blanca, or Rio Hato, Metromall, Arraijan or Tocumen Airport need to arrange own transportation

Meeting Point
We will start the pick ups 20 minutes before the starting time, we will send you a message with the exact time the day before the tour around 5:00pm, once we have the list complet of hotels.
Hotels near the Tocumen Airport need to arrange a separate transportation to meet the group starting at central Panama city. For Playa Bonita Hotels you need to pay an extra of $10 per person total roundtrip to arrange a separate car to bring you to meet the group in downtown Panama city.
Pick up at Cruiseship ports are not possible for SHARED tours.
