Oman’s first and only public aquarium takes you on a fascinating tour of marine life and other terrestrial wonders. Based on the adventures of the renowned 15th Century Omani mariner Ahmed Ibn Majid, the aquarium retraces his Indian Ocean journeys, from Africa to Indonesia back to Oman, showcasing the aquatic creatures he encountered during his travels.
