What To Expect
If you want to recharge your batteries and return completely refreshed, this Nizwa and Jebel Shams tour can provide you that!
Your first stop will be the Nizwa souq, where you will see fruit and vegetables, but also traditional artifacts displayed.
You will then visit the Nizwa castle and learn about its importance in the history of Oman. You will have time to walk around and discover the architecture of the fort.
It is now time for the Al Hamra village museum, which is one of the most famous museums of Oman and will give you the change to better understand the Omani culture as it is built in a traditional Omani house. You will see local people in the museum, who will show you how the traditional Omani lifestyle is. After this you will have lunch at a local restaurant.
Your last stop will be the Jabel Shams mountain (Oman's Grand Canyon), which is 3000 meters high and the highest of the Hajar mountains. You will enjoy the beautiful views and nature before returning to Muscat.
