What To Expect

This luxury city tour begins with a visit to the beautiful Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. This is one of the largest mosques in the Middle East. Post that you’ll go to the famous Amouage factory, where the sophisticated perfumes are created, packaged, and then delivered all over the world. The experts will show you the different phases to obtain the precious fragrances and then you’ll have time enough to have a look and eventually buy some products at the exhibition part. Later you’ll go to Shatti Al Qurum for a visit of the majestic Royal Opera House. It is the point of reference for all the Opera, dance ballets, and concerts in the all GCC region, recalling a lot of spectators from all over the continents in its beautiful auditoriums. After a walk and some shopping at the Royal Galleria, the guide will take you for the lunch. In the afternoon you’ll go to the Oman National Museum. The museum tour it’s highly recommended for all the lovers of cultural heritage and history. Once outside, you’ll have a photo-shoot moment in front of the official residence of his Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said: The Al Alam Palace. From the Palace, you will travel through the old town, the site of the historical nucleus of Muscat, and enjoy the view of the picturesque Muttrah Corniche, admiring the various cruise ships on the water at Mina Al Sultan Qaboos Port. Then you will go back to your hotel and end your tour.

Please be aware that the visits inside the Grand Mosque are not allowed after 11am. The Grand Mosque will be visible only from outside. The Grand Mosque will be closed on Friday for the collective prayer.
Amouage Factory will be closed on Friday and Saturday.
It's recommended to wear comfortable clothes and shoes but you must be respectful of the country's rules (no exposure of shoulders and knees for adults, no transparent clothes, etc)
