Access to Cathedral Cove is weather-dependent. For safety reasons, the track may be unsuitable after or during heavy rain. In such cases, alternative arrangements will be made to ensure you still have an incredible experience.

Public transportation options are available nearby. Specialized infant seats are available. Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. Children aged 7 years and below are required to travel in a child safety car seat. You can provide your own or one can be provided for $20 NZD (with 24 hours notice).. Guests must wear reliable, closed-in footwear suitable for walking on various terrains.. Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.. For safety reasons, the track may be unsuitable after or during heavy rain. In such cases, alternative arrangements will be made. At Hot Water Beach, digging for your personal geothermal spa may not always be possible if the tide does not permit.. Not recommended for travelers with severe mobility difficulties, a large amount of walking over uneven surfaces is involved.
