What To Expect

Discover the beautiful Mt Maunganui from the ocean. This is a cultural experience on stand up paddle boards, delivered by tangata whenua (people of the land) of Tauranga.

This experience is around 2 hours long, with approximately 1 hour on the water.

Important info

Public transportation options are available nearby. Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Adult does not need to partake.. Participants will get wet. A dry change of clothes is recommend for after the activity.

Look for our staff in bright orange uniforms. We are situated half way along Pilot Bay near the public toilets. If you are coming from the Port of Tauranga cruise ship gate, Pilot Bay beach is just beyond the gate
Whether you are coming off a ship or meeting us onsite, look for our staff in bright orange uniforms. We can meet at the Port of Tauranga cruise ship gate and escort on foot (5 minute walk), or meet at our beachside location, corner of Pacific Ave and The Mall, Pilot Bay, Mt Maunganui.
