We are 100% local and 95% tangata whenua (indigenous people of the area). We promise you will leave feeling grounded and welcomed.
Public transportation options are available nearby. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. Children must be accompanied by an adult. A maximum of 40 people per booking. Wear appropriate walking shoes and wear layers to regulate body temperature. Up to 2 hours of moderate walking with regular stops
Look for our staff in bright orange uniforms waiting at the base of Mauao, corner of Adams Ave and The Mall, Pilot Bay, Mt Maunganui.
We can meet at the Port of Tauranga cruise ship gate and escort on foot to the mountain (15 minute walk), or meet onsite at the base of the mountain.
