What To Expect
There are some places in New Zealand that you just have to go to. Pickup, then across the Harbour Bridge to Takapuna and its beach/restaurant area. Then to Orewa for more golden-sand beaches. Onto Puhoi for the famed hotel and excellent early-settlers church. See coastal views from Waiwera Hill (a great photo spot) onto Warkworth, a charming riverside village.
Then to Matakana, Morris, and James Pottery. onto the place where we all want to live, Jackson's Bay. Then Leigh Harbour is a magnificently picturesque place. To the top of Pakiri Hill for the panoramic coastal views of the region. Back to Matakana (shops, restaurants, and the Saturday market).
The if time to Brick Bay Hill is more stellar viewing. If time permits, the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron (current home of the Americas Cup)
And it goes on and on. NZ at its best. A tour not to be missed
