Everest Base Camp Trek with Gokyo Lakes via Cho-la is a beautiful combination for the adventurous trekkers to enjoy the nature and its beauty in the Everest Region. You will witness the series of beautiful turquoise lakes in the Gokyo valley and the famous Cho La Pass, panoramic views of mountains, including the highest mountain in the world-Mt. Everest, friendly Sherpas, Buddhist monasteries including Tengboche Monastery- the largest monastery in the Khumbu region of Nepal and of course, to the base of mighty Everest. The trek also awards us with the best viewpoints in the Everest region- Kalapatthar (5550m) and Gokyo Ri (5357m) from where the famous mountains like Mt. Everest (8848.86m), Mt Lhotse (8,516m), Mt. Makalu (8,463m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201m), Mt. Nuptse (7,855m) and many more can be seen. This trek is ideal for the trekkers who wish to take up more challenging and “stay off the beaten trail”.
