What To Expect

Everest Base Camp Trek takes you up and down the main trekking route in the heart of Solukhumbu. While there are many other beautiful places in the Khumbu region, if getting to the EBC base camp is your main objective, this journey is for you. You’ll enjoy breathtaking mountain vistas and the feeling of being quite high in the Himalayas. This high-altitude trek through Sherpa country brings you to the base of the world’s tallest peak. You’ll pass hilltop monasteries, Himalayan market towns, and craggy peaks as you follow in the footsteps of famous mountaineers—eventually making your way to the iconic starting point for all Everest expeditions.

Service animals allowed. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. A large amount of walking is involved. Passport name, number, expiry and country is required at time of booking for all participants

What's included

Domestic Flight Ticket from Kathmandu -Lukla-Kathmandu.. Sagarmatha National Park permits, TIMS and other necessary permits. All land transportation by private vehicle.. All government and local taxes.. An experienced, English-speaking and government-licensed holder trek leader.. 11-nights accommodation throughout the trek on local lodge on room only basis.. 2-night accommodation in 4*Yatri Suites & Spa or similar in Kathmandu on breakfast basis.

Food and drinks/ Beverage bills.. Donations at schools, monasteries etc.. Tipping (Tips).. International flight.. Extras cost for upgrading rooms and services at hotels if/when applicable.. Expenses that are personal in nature like hot water and drinking water, telephone, laundry, etc. Emergency rescue evacuation insurance of any kind.. All porter (one porter can carry 20 kilo of luggage and share between different clients).. Any other items not specified in the package.
