Nagarkot is a village located about 32 km east of Kathmandu, Nepal. It is on the northeastern rim of the Kathmandu Valley at an elevation of close to 2175 m above sea level. It is one of the most scenic spots in the region, renowned for its sunrise views of the Himalayas.
