The Trishuli River Rafting day trip is a popular adventure activity for tourists visiting Kathmandu. The trip typically starts early in the morning and involves a 3-hour drive to the starting point of the rafting trip. Along the way, you will meet your guide and receive a safety briefing and instruction on rafting techniques. The rafting trip itself takes around 2-3 hours and covers a distance of about 15 kilometers. During the trip, you will pass through rapids of varying difficulty levels and have opportunities to swim and take breaks to rest and enjoy the scenery. Lunch is usually provided as a picnic-style meal served on the riverbank. After the rafting trip is over, you will change into dry clothes and be driven back to Kathmandu by local bus, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening.
