As Nepal is inundated with of the world's ten highest peaks, Gokyo lake trek is plausibly worth praising, not only for its immediacy to the world’s highest peak, Mt Everest but also for its flattering villages, array of various diversified cultures and traditions, vivid festivals, heartwarming hospitality of the native people and consecrated monasteries.
Everest Region of Khumbu area is the bubble nest of the holy Gokyo Lake which is worshiped as the residing shell of “Nag Devta”, snake God, by both Hindus as well as Buddhists. The holy lake also accords you with the splendid mountain vistas and the Ngozumpa Glacier, the largest glacier in the Himalayas.
