Everest Base Camp Trek for Beginners: 11-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding. You can see the Himalayas as you land in Lukla.
Day 2: Trek through forests and over bridges to Namche Bazaar.
Day 3: Rest in Namche Bazaar. You can walk around the town, visit markets, or hike to Everest View Hotel to see Mount Everest.
Day 4: Trek to Tengboche. You can see Mount Ama Dablam and other Himalayan mountains on the way.
Day 5: Trek to Dingboche. The landscape becomes more rugged.
Day 6: Rest in Dingboche. You can take short hikes around the village to help you get used to the altitude.
Day 7: Trek to Lobuche. You will see memorials to climbers who have died on Mount Everest.
Day 8: Trek to Gorakshep and Everest Base Camp. You will be close to the tallest mountain in the world.
Day 9: Climb to Kala Patthar early to see Mount Everest at sunrise. Then, trek down to Pheriche.
Day 10: Trek back to Namche Bazaar to lukla.
Day 11: Fly back to Kathmandu today.
