Pikey (4,067m) is one of the tallest hills in the Solu Khumbu Region. Various mountains ranges of the eastern and central Himalayas can be seen from here.
Peaks like Mt. Everest, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Annapurna, Gaurishankar, Lhotse, Nuptse, Numbur, Sishapangma, Thamserku, Mera peak and other few ranges can be viewed from the top of the hill. Breathtaking view of sunrise and sunset can be other attraction for the visitor. The trail passes through some of the most beautiful settlements in the region. Trek begins and ends at Phaplu and passes through Kerung, Pattale, Jhapre, Pikey peak, Lamajura, and Junbesi.
Service animals allowed. Public transportation options are available nearby. Specialized infant seats are available. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
