This trek takes you far away from vehicular movement, into the land of the standing mountains.
This trek offers spectacular mountain scenery and an extremely diverse cultural experience along with the vast landscape. The trail follows north of the main Himalayan range, to the dry Tibetan-like trans-Himalaya. It is enjoyable and no technical knowledge is required to undertake this trek.
This trek will start in Pokhara before going through the different villages or settlements called Bhulbhule, Chame, Pisang, Manang, Churiledar, Phedi, Muktinath, Kagbeni, Marpha, etc. The trek shows some spectacular valleys including Ngwal, Ghyaru, Marsayangdi, Tengi, Manang, and Kali Gandaki valley.
Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Service animals allowed. Public transportation options are available nearby. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. A large distance hiking is required.
