Langtang Valley Trek is the nearest trekking route from Kathmandu. Thus, a large number of trekkers head to explore this region. The Tibetan and Tamang culture with the backdrop of Langtang range make up exciting trekking trails. The flora and fauna in the Langtang National Park are quite surreal as well. All in all, the trek is a glorious trip into Langtang Valley– the Valley of Glaciers.
The 10-day trip starts at Kathmandu from where you drive to Syabrubesi. Then you enter the Langtang National Park and head to Lama Hotel. The trek heads north and reaches Ghodatabela means the horse stable. Then, you follow the trail to Langtang village and settle at Kyanjin Gompa.
The Langtang Valley Trek can be done by anyone from any age group. So, prior trekking experience is not needed but you need to be in a fit condition. You can make a detour to Gosainkunda Lake or Helambu Valley if you have the interest to explore more of this region.
Public transportation options are available nearby. Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap. Specialized infant seats are available. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. Please advise any specific dietary requirements at time of booking.
