This is one of the best local experiences while doing a few hours of hiking combined with meeting small local Arabica coffee farmers from the beautiful Sarangkot village near Pokhara. This experience covers most stages of organic coffee farming and processing method from farming, harvesting, processing, and roasting. You will also have a chance to learn about the community-focused non-profit organization which is helping local organic Arabica coffee farmers by providing training and sharing updated knowledge required in coffee farming and its challenges to operate sustainably while paying 30% more money for farmer’s coffee cherries compared to other collectors in the region.
During this experience you will have a chance to taste the locally grown arabica coffee and organic lunch prepared by women group who are part of community tourism project.
