It's hard to beat a good walk by a peaceful lake in the woods. Add warming up by a cozy fire afterwards and you've got the perfect match! Enjoy nature as locals do!
The tour starts at in the city center near the tiger statue at Jernbanetorget. We will then take a train to Sognsvann - an idyllic lake surrounded by green forest. Oslo is known for its efficient public transportation system and in just 20 minutes from the city center you are practically in the center of wilderness where the magical forest is preserved as it was centuries ago.
After arriving at the peaceful lake, a short walk in the forest (2 km ~) will be followed by a campfire. Here you will learn how to make a fire in the wild, talk about Norwegian outdoor food traditions, local life and more.
