What To Expect

With this experience, you'll get the chance to join the perfect Haarlem Canal tour.You'll start at the famous Windmill Adriaan, the real Dutch windmill in the centre of Haarlem. There, the friendly captain will help you on the comfortable sloop. The sloop can be adjusted to the weather, if it is good weather the sloop will be open. If it gets a bit rainy, you'll be comfortable and dry under the roof. As soon as you're seated on the comfortable pillows, the canal tour will start.Sailing through all the smallest inner canals of Haarlem city, the captain will share the best stories of Haarlems 900 years of history. The most fun history lesson available! There is plenty of room for questions and also conversation with your company, the captain or the other travellers.Cruise the Dutch way with a cold beer or rose/white wine in your hand. After about 50 minutes more or less, you'll return to the Windmill Adriaan with special memories. Windmill Adriaan is a nice-recommended optional visit after the tour to check out by yourself! Cheap and with a view over all of Haarlem on top of this mill to round up this wonderful tour!
