Explore Zaanse Schans Windmills, Volendam with Ferry to Marken

Upon meeting your driver guide at the designated location, head for Zaanse Schans, an outdoor museum including wooden homes, shops, and operational windmills from the 18th and 19th centuries. Visit the Clog Museum to observe traditional craftsmanship and wooden shoemakers in action. Learn the craft of making cheese in the Netherlands by visiting a cheese farm in Catharina Hoeve.

Then a visit to the charming town of Volendam where you can walk and absorb the culture. Lunch can be arranged at a restaurant in Volendam. Please inquire.

Take the ferry to Marken where you’ll go back into time, walk around and visit a museum that illustrates the life and history of this town.

The remaining tour time is allotted for the travel time from pick up until drop off.

We will pick up passengers from their hotel in the Amsterdam area. Cruise ports: Amsterdam or Ijmuiden.
