After pickup from your accommodation in Amsterdam, your driver and guide will take you to the first destination of the day, Zaanse Schans, a region of the Netherlands full of traditional structures. Tour the wooden dwellings, windmills, and quaint little shops. Above all, you can admire the traditional mills scattered throughout the town, each of which has its own purpose: there's a paint mill, oil mill and saw mill.After that, you'll go to Giethoorn, called the “Little Venice of the Netherlands”, this town is full of thatched-roof farms that are connected by more than 170 wooden bridges. Explore this unique townscape either by sailing a boat yourself or joining a canal cruise. On the water, your guide will share information about the history and culture of Giethoorn. After taking in the sights, you can take a seat in one of the town’s many restaurants for lunch (not included) before starting your trip back to Amsterdam.
