Know in advance:

The museum is open every day (10:00 am - 5:00 pm). The opening time is extended until 10 pm on Thursdays
Tram 14 stops at the ARTIS, close to the main entrance. Tram 7 and 19 stop at Alexanderplein, a ten-minute walk from the main entrance. The nearest metro station is Waterlooplein, it is a ten-minute walk to the ARTIS-Groote Museum
