UXMAL
Uxmal is a stunning archeological site in the style of the mayan baroque. Pyramid of the Diviner, Monastery of the Nuns, Governor’s Palace, are still fascinating for visitors. The present name seems to derive from Oxmal, meaning “three times built”.
MERIDA
The capital city of Yucatan is a gem of colonial architecture. Historic residences from the turn of the 19th and 20th century palaces, universities, and hotels add to its charm. We will visit the National Palace, Paseo Montejo and the Cathedral. We will try local cusine here.
IZAMAL
This magical town is located in the in the north of Yucatan state. The colonial Izamal is a one-of-a-kind city, all the buildings are painted in yellow.
In the pre-Columbian period, this city was one of the important centers of Mayan culture, to this day you can admire the pyramids.
In the sixteenth century, the Spaniards built at the top of the pyramid the church and convent of the Franciscans Convento de San Antonio de Padua.
