This tradition is experienced by visiting a real cemetery in Mixquic where the graves are decorated with flowers, candles and altars dedicated to the deceased. We begin the tour leaving the meeting point heading to San Andrés every year, the town is filled with colors and flavors to pay tribute to the soul of the deceased on their day. Popular for its brilliant offerings, it is one of the most emblematic places in central Mexico during the Day of the Dead celebration. To begin, we will visit a traditional Mexican house where we will receive a snack and continue with the visit to the religious temple until we reach the cemetery, where you can observe the decoration of the tombs with the marigold flower and candles, a scenario that will surprise you. We will continue with the famous lighting, this is the time when relatives decorate the tombs with various elements that guide the way home to their dead. Keep in mind that the only night where you can see the Lighting is November 1.
