During this art tour through the heart of Mexico City, we’ll introduce you to Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, Mexico's one of the most important artists.
Our tour starts at Museo Casa Estudio Diego Rivera y Frida Kahlo, the former abode of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera where many of their works were created. We will get a sense of how Diego and Frida once lived and worked. We’ll engage directly with their history as we surround ourselves by their artworks, photos.
Them we move to Mexico City’s other landmark – Anahuacalli Museum. After discussing the story behind museum, we will feel inspired by the museums' treasures.
Public transportation options are available nearby. Suitable for all physical fitness levels. It is important to know that the museums may be subjected to occasional closures without previous warning from the museum management (as usual it happens during high season). When this occurs, we will provide guests with an appropriate alternative if the museum opening time is delayed more than 1h from the tour starting time. In these cases we are unable to provide refunds or discounts. No large bags or suitcases are allowed inside the museum, only handbags or small thin backpacks are allowed through security. Some specific rooms inside the museums are subjected to a very quiet or restricted right to speak inside, in this case your guide will provide the information about this places before entering the specific rooms where this rule applies. Some collections may vary along the year.
