Espíritu Santo is unique to all other islands in the Gulf and was designated a National Park in 2007. The rich biodiversity of the islands includes over 50 species of waterfowl and at least 15 mammals in the marine zone and 200 species of plants, 53 endemic, 70 species of amphibians, reptiles and mammals including the Juancito or Babisuri.
We will cross the San Lorenzo Channel on our 25 km ride to San Gabriel and nesting Frigatebirds and stunning blue waters. Passing along the shallow bays lined with mangroves, rocky reefs, Isla La Ballena-La Gallo-La Partida, the Arch of Espíritu Santo on our way to snorkel Los Islotes and the largest colony of California Sea Lions in the Sea of Cortez. Time for Beach Lunch! Ensenada Grande or similar location for fresh ceviche and sandwiches under shades and time to explore the island or just relax and take it all in.
