Embarking on a journey 110 kilometers southwest of Ulaanbaatar, we visit Khustain Nuruu, a conservation area dedicated to preserving and safeguarding Mongolia's wild horses, known as takhi or Przewalski's horses. Recognized by the world's biology foundation, the takhi faced extinction in the wild. However, through collaborative efforts with international environmental agencies from 1992 to 2004, successful reintroduction programs were implemented at Khustain National Park, ensuring the revival of the Takhi population.
The financial contribution from tourism 100% is used for nature conservation. That means anyone who paid to receive the eco-tourism service (a tour company, tour guides, and travellers) can participate the nature conservation.
In addition to witnessing the iconic Takhi and diverse wildlife populations, you enjoy mild hiking
