Departure from Marrakech at 9am, and drive to Imlil Valley passing by Moulay Brahim Gorges and Asni centre; well-known with its weekly Berber market every Saturday. After a further we arrive in Imlil (1,740m); a starting point of several trekking and walking options through the High Atlas valleys and Berber villages including Mount Toubkal (4167m); the highest summit in North Africa. Here you will leave our vehicle to take a welcome glass of mint tea in the village and meet your local mountain guide prior to setting out for your hike which takes around 3-4 hrs walking. The route takes you towards the south to the Berber village of Aremd at 2000m passing the hamlets of Ait Souka, Targa, Imoula, with a stop to see Tagartoun Waterfall. From Aremd village you will be able to enjoy a panoramic view over the neighbouring villages and the high Atlas Peaks such as Mount Toubkal, Aguelzim summit, Adrar el Hadj, Tamatert pass, Mzik pass and Asaoul.
