This half-day excursion takes us to Sidi Mbark, a small Berber village 35 km south of Essaouira. We walk to a little cascade (which is in summer times dry, due to the drought Morocco is facing) and close by visit the old Marabout (residence for the spirit of a Saint or wise man). Here, the convergence of a large sand dune, a small river, and an imposing rock splendidly frames a lovely bay.
We are invited to a family from the region for a traditional Berber tea ceremony at the end of the walk.
There is the option to have a donkey with a guide on the walk, which is fun for kids to ride.
Service animals allowed. Specialized infant seats are available. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Suitable for all physical fitness levels
