We start in the morning by picking you up at the hotel / riad, after breakfast, then we head to the old town
(medina). Our first stop, passing through the narrow, colorful and beautiful streets of the medina, is the local restaurant “sook Lihoud” (the Jewish market); where there are carpenters and blacksmiths making all kinds of traditional and artistic pieces; You will also find local artisans who make traditional wool carpets with different patterns and symbols that reflect Moroccan culture and monuments. Our next stop is the ‘Seffarin’ Square (right at the entrance of the ‘Al Quaraouiyine’ Library), a place where the bronze and copper work is exquisite, exceptional and extremely complex; you will find pots, pans, lampshades, trays and chandeliers. This market is a must for you to experience traditional know-how in metal; everything is done by hand and people are so passionate about the products.
