The four-day pottery experience at Dar Lala Zhour is unique for its in-depth, immersive approach to traditional Rif pottery. Over these days, guests fully engage in each step of the process, from gathering local clay and materials to shaping, decorating, and firing the pottery using ancient techniques without modern tools. Guided by Zhour, a master potter, participants learn to shape clay by hand, burnish with limestone, and apply natural pigments, capturing the essence of Rif craftsmanship. The experience combines artisanal skill with cultural exchange, allowing guests to connect deeply with the local heritage and scenic landscape.
