What To Expect
Enjoy a culinary journey with a local family and step into a different world. Each encounter is personal, involving only your party and the host family.Upon meeting the local family and enjoying your first drink, you'll have the opportunity to assist in meal preparation. Alternatively, you can simply observe, jot down notes, or take photographs - just relish the experience.All host families have at least a basic knowledge of English, offering you the chance to engage in conversation and learn about everyday life in their country. Feel free to discuss anything you're curious about with your hosts, including sharing insights about yourself and your homeland. What to remember
Important info
Know in advance:
- A minimum of 2 adults is required for this activity
- On the terrace, you’ll find many shoes. It is customary to take off your shoes before entering a house
- Clothes should respect the local culture and not show too much skin
- The local family will invite you to help with the preparations of your meal
- It is recommended to discuss when you or the local family want to take pictures (and/or post them on social media). Most of the time, everyone is fine with it
