What To Expect
One of the most well-known cities in Sri Lanka is Kandy, the capital city situated on a hill. Around Kandy, there is a plethora of cultural diversity. The Temple of the Tooth receives the most visitors. Former Kandyan rulers built the city's central lake, which offers visitors a breathtaking view. Sports, religion, history, and culture are all abundant in Kandy. One of the top attractions in Kandy is the Royal Botanical Garden, and tourists may also go to a tea factory and a plantation to learn more about the cultivation of tea. Visit Nuwaraeliya to see waterfalls, lush green tea plantations, and one of the coolest places in the country. This area is also referred to as Little England because of its distinctive features. Anyone who appreciates breathtaking views of the countryside or is interested in Sri Lanka's colonial past.
