New tour created by itseoulgood. I've been running tours for 8 years.
This is going to be a fun tour in my favorite part of Seoul. You will get to experience a little bit of the culture, history, food, and the people. We will start in one of the oldest and biggest food markets in Seoul then we will continue through some small hidden alleys and spots. You will get to see a little bit of the old and the new. We will taste a ton of unique items throughout the market and in different neighborhoods.
Walk through a modernized, cultural area hidden in the back alleys. Take a stroll through the historical area of Insadong, where there are tons to see and shop. We will finish in one of the most traditional hidden teahouses in a traditional area. I will help answer any questions and give recommendations as well!
Other things to note:
All of the food will be included in the tour fee. Bring extra cash if you would like to purchase additional items.
Wheelchair accessible. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller. Service animals allowed. Public transportation options are available nearby. Transportation options are wheelchair accessible. All areas and surfaces are wheelchair accessible. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. The remaining 1 hour will be for walking.
We will meet at Jongno 5-ga station (line 1, dark blue line) outside of exit 8 at 11 am. (Exit 8 is NOT the elevator. Keep walking past it til you see stairs to come upstairs.)
Don't get mixed up with Jongno 3-ga station
