What To Expect
On this tour you'll depart from Fukuoka, take a 2.5-hour drive to Kamishiromi Kumanoza Shrine, the filming location of the movie 'Into the Forest of Fireflies Light'. Then you'll arrive at Aso Volcano, located in the northeast of Kumamoto Prefecture, Kyushu Island. It is the symbol of Kumamoto and is famous for its composite volcano with a large caldera.Your adventure continues to Kusasenri, which is a vast grassy plain that offers great views of the volcanically active Nakadake Peak. There is also a large pond in Kusasenri where you can also see horses grazing. This scenic location has become a popular feature of the Aso Geopark. Finally, you can experience the Japanese-style open-air bath at Kurokawa Onsen for a rejuvenating experience.

- Note that children under 3 years old also need to buy tickets if they need to occupy a seat

- Note that you're not allowed to wear swimsuits or swimming trunks in hot springs, but only dive naked (separate for men and women). People with tattoos may not be allowed to enter hot springs, some places allow you to cover your tattoos, but some may refuse to allow people with tattoos to enter
- The tour operates with a multilingual guide

Meeting Point
There are 2 meeting up points. 7.30 am at Fukuoka City Hall and 8.00 am at Hakata Station Chikushi Exit Lawson. When you go to the meeting place, look for the guide with a "JRT" flag logo. Arrive at designated pickup point 10 mins prior to departure.
