This is a night tour to enjoy the creative night view of Fushimi Inari with a dedicated guide. The tour will pass through the middle of the mountain called “Yonotsuji” where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the night scenery of Kyoto and reach the summit of the mountain.
The tour will take you deep into the mountains of Inari, including hidden spots unknown even to locals and the fantastic Senbon-torii, or “thousand torii” gateway.
Fushimi Inari Taisha is said to have been founded in 711. It is the head shrine of approximately 30,000 shrines throughout Japan. About 10,000 vermilion torii gates stand in a row. Many mounds are scattered all the way to the top. There are also many statues of foxes that are believed to be messengers of Inari no Mikami. The shrine is widely worshipped and visited by people from all over Japan as the god of prosperity in business, good harvest, and family safety.
Ema (votive picture tablet), which is sold only during the daytime, will be given away.
Public transportation options are available nearby. Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries. Not recommended for pregnant travelers. Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness. Please wear comfortable clothing.. There is no room for large luggage. Please do not bring large luggage.. Participants must be at least 6 years old. 5 years old and younger are not allowed to participate.. This tour is not recommended for those who are not confident in their physical strength to climb the mountain.
There is a torii gate in front of the convenience store near by JR Inari Station. We will meet there.
